Bad Zurzach, Switzerland, Oct 19, 2007 - HeiQ Materials AG, the inventor of silver microcompositve additives, today launched its second production site in Bad Zurzach in northern Switzerland.
The plant is a high-capacity, state of the art plant for HeiQ's microcomposite production needs. The production plant allows HeiQ full control over its additive production with laboratory, quality management and testing services all on the same site.
"It is only after much work, planning and construction that we are finally and on time able to open up this new production facility. This second site allows us to ramp up sales and meet customer demands for our additive microcomposite products", says Carlo Centonze, CEO of HeiQ. " We are also very proud of the masterbatch production being part of our new production facility. This allows HeiQ full flexibility in delivering additives for our customers according to their exact needs and requirements".
The new production plants has been possible to develop in a relatively short time due to HeiQ's extensive knowhow and expertise gained in previous production sites. Adding a masterbatch machine to its toolpark, HeiQ now becomes a full service organization for its customers with all necessary competence located within one site, thereby ensuring top quality in its products.
